Who We Are Carbonculcha is a part owned subsidiary of WICEEDO. It is the Carbon Trading arm of WICEEDO. Carbonculcha has been formed to take advantage of opportunities in domestic and international Carbon Credit or Carbon Offset Markets and to support Indigenous communities and other landholders to participate in the carbon economy in a culturally, socially and economically sustainable way. Combining WICEEDO’s capacity development and community engagement experience, with experienced Climate Change, Permaculture and Education Industries partners. These partnerships provide Carbonculcha with: Access to Permaculture design techniques and tree seedlings Carbon credit accreditation and certification Capacity Development knowledge and skills Culturally Competent Community Engagement Experience Access to the international Carbon Market Curriculum based studies access within schools The Logo Indigenous Australian culture is tens of thousands of years old. It is regarded as the oldest living culture in the world. In traditional Australian Aboriginal art, a circle of dots depicts a meeting place, where families and tribes would come together. The horseshoe images are used to represent people sitting down at a gathering. Adding the colours of the three major elements of Carbon trading, Trees, Carbon and Sky to our existing circle of dots, we are representing the recycling and sustainable nature of Carbonculcha. Our logo highlights the company's identity, our Indigenous heritage and cultural links to community and family and our commitment to the environment. It acknowledges who we are, and what we stand for. Whilst depicting a broader theme of ‘coming together’ of global cultures with common goals and visions.
