The New Direction.

Turning deserts into sustainable
food forests.

Permaculture globally is regarded
as the new direction in sustainable agriculture. This remarkable ability
to create forests in arid soils and deserts can add value to arid land holdings.

The nature of the Carbonculcha Biodiversity model gives these lands a far greater economic value than once held by the corporate sector.

Permaculture

Permaculture globally is regarded as the new direction in sustainable agriculture. Turning deserts into sustainable food forests. This remarkable ability to create forests in arid soils and deserts can add value to arid land holdings in Australia. Utilising this proven technology, the Carbonculcha Biodiversity model gives land holdings a far greater economic value than once held by the corporate sector.

1. Permaculture designed plantations are suitable for producing Carbon Credits and other spin off agribusiness enterprises.

2. Utilising Permaculture techniques will add value to land and not take other valuable farmland out of arable and animal production cycles.

3. Permaculture will improve land, enhancing traditional vegetation, facilitate cultural practices and produce a diverse risk managed income.

4. Permaculture design incorporates water harvesting methods that use only one fifth of water.

The Permaculture element of our model provides communities with a number of extra benefits, including:

  • Extra income streams through sales
of produce to the native food industry

  • Educational and Cultural Tourism

  • Employment rather than just depending
on a passive income from the lease of sinks

  • Facilitates ongoing cultural practice via wild
    harvest

  • Providing communities with large pockets
of fresh, healthy food for the community

  • Choice of selling or keeping produce

Carbonculcha utilises preferred industry experts from the Permaculture Research Institute and Australia Felix Permaculture [Broadacre Permaculture Design & Development], ensuring culturally appropriate and environmental friendly established sinks.
